Social media:

I help people live in the house of their dreams. Turning dreams into reality. Turning ordinary spaces into places you never want to leave and always want to come back to. I help people not waste their time and money in vain. My ultimate goal is to make everyone's life a little more beautiful and wonderful, to highlight individuality and make them happy.

I started drawing in childhood, and I could go through an entire pack of paper in a day! I constantly watched my father, the well-known icon painter Ilya Pivnik, work in his art studio. This sparked my interest in art: soon, I began studying passionately under the famous, now late, icon painter A.V. Ponomarev. With him, I traveled across various corners of Russia for open-air painting sessions, lugging around a huge wooden easel filled with oil paints. This is how I learned to paint landscapes from life.

Later, I was invited to the private workshop of F.B. Fedorov, the author of many well-known historical paintings. He could spend years working on a single piece, meticulously gathering material for it. He was — and remains — a role model for me, a true Artist with a capital "A."

After that, I made the final decision to become an artist and dedicate my life to painting. It wasn’t a difficult decision; at some point, I simply realized I didn’t want to do anything else. I enrolled in the Secondary Art School (SХSH), a lyceum with minimal general education subjects but large art studios and everything needed for creativity. During that time, the "Nevskaya Palitra" art paint factory took an interest in me and began sponsoring my work. I received a gold medal for academic excellence, awarded by Z.K. Tsereteli. I held three solo exhibitions. After the lyceum, I entered the Russian Academy of Arts named after I.E. Repin, studying in the monumental workshop under A.K. Bystrov. For several years, I worked on wall paintings and interior decoration of private apartments and houses.

Monumental art is closely linked to spatial solutions, which led me to study the laws of architecture and interior design. Soon, interior design became so fascinating to me that I realized it was true creativity within a space — combining shapes, colors, lighting, and textures. The palette of materials is endless, allowing you to become a director of all these elements.

Since 2009, I have been professionally engaged in design. I keep track of global design trends and study material properties. After assembling a team of talented designers, I became the head of the interior design studio "TimRoom."

What I love most about design is working with people. I always say that the main focus of any interior is the person! Without a person, an interior has no meaning. Interior design is about the interaction between a person and space. Every space is shaped around the individual, their goals, and their personality. I always pay close attention to each client to better understand them as individuals. I help people live in the house of their dreams — turning their dreams into reality.
I constantly solve new challenges, and each project brings something fresh. Every project is like a new painting with its own concept and expressive techniques. When you walk into an unfinished apartment, it feels like a vast canvas for creativity.

When creating an interior, I craft a mood — because interiors convey emotions to people! The key is to approach the atmosphere of a space thoughtfully, ensuring it resonates with its occupant. Just like clothing, an interior transforms a person. That’s why I enjoy working not just with materials but with sensations. Objects and finishing materials are merely tools for evoking the right emotions. This is the only way to transform an ordinary space into a place where you never want to leave and always long to return.
I have a special appreciation for the architectural composition of interiors as a whole. I see walls and furniture as forms, even before they become recognizable as chairs, cabinets, or chandeliers. It’s about arranging shapes, allowing air to flow, creating thoughtful pauses, and building lines and movement. My primary concern is always the ergonomics and proportions of a space. Only after establishing the right form do I layer in content — colors, materials, and textures. When the form is correct, the solutions come naturally. If there are errors in the foundation, no amount of decoration can fix them later.

I value my studio "TimRoom" for its amazing team — everyone is incredibly talented, creative, and interesting. I love that we are all on the same wavelength, positive and energetic! Working with my team brings me great joy.
